FIMO organizes Remote Sensing – Field Infomatics session in the framework of the international

The KSE (Knowledge and Systems  Engineering ) conference is an open international forum for presentation, discussion and exchange of the latest advances and challenges in research of Knowledge and Systems Engineering. The main objective of the conference is to bring together  researchers, academics, practitioners and students not only to share research results and practical  applications but also to foster collaboration in research and education in KSE. The eighth edition of the conference, KSE 2016, will be held in Ha Noi, the capital of Vietnam, during October 6-8, 2016, and organized by the Le Quy Don Technical  University.

KSE special session on Remote Sensing, GIS and FieldInformatics (KSE-FIRSTGIS2016) serves as a forum for scientific exchanges and technology transfer between researchers, managers and industrial sectors. This special session will focus on advanced developments of Remote Sensing, GIS and FieldInfomatics to address issues related to natural and social worlds. Researchers are welcome to submit papers about theoretical or empirical works, or surveys of recent and future trends in Remote Sensing, GIS and FieldInformatics. Relevant topics for KSEFIRSTGIS2016 include, but not limited to, the following:

  • GIS (Geographical Information System)
  • Satellite and Space Technologies,
  • Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing,
  • Remote Sensingtheories and applications in Atmosphere, Coastal Environment, Land Use/Land Cover Change, Natural Disasters, Oceanography, Urban Environment,
  • Field Data and Measurements from field trips, surveys, satellites, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) , wire/wireless sensor networks,
  • Field Analysis, Modeling, Calculation and System: Geospatial Databases, Spatial Data Infrastructure, Geospatial Analysis and Modeling, Grid/Cloud Computing,GeographicInformation System, Geo-visualization, Field Monitoring Applications

On October 8th, 2016 FIMO Center  organize GIS – Remote Sensing – Field Informatics session in the framework of the international seminar KSE
